Ecolux facilities, comfy room, amazing beach and pool, food tasty. Day pass visitors can diminish the experience somehow but overall great stay.

Excellent hotel. Very pleasant and serene. The staff is great and accommodating. The amenities are excellent. Food is delicious and convenient. You can order food, drinks or snacks from anywhere on the hotel grounds at your convenience. Keep in mind, as part of the hotel concept experience, they don’t provide hot showers. It’s more like a room-temperature shower. Some rooms have a shower under the open sky which is great but keep it in mind. Also something to note is that the island is not very walkable, you can go to surrounding hotels or beach clubs but not very far. Anything in between is not meant for tourists. Whereas not unsafe, just not much to do. If the weather is bad, boats don’t travel as frequently between the hotel and mainland. During sever weather, prepare to hunker down because all boat taxi service will be suspended until better weather. Otherwise, it’s an amazing experience. If you want a slow place to disconnect for 2-3 days - this is an amazing spot. PS: on the hotel beach typically there are activities provided by locals, like jet skis, boats, etc.

We had a great time. We stayed for a week and got to experience most of what the resort has to offer. We came with two little kids under two and glad we were put on the first floor and had a big family room. Moving around was hard work with a stroller because there’s lot of stairs and not enough ramps. The buffet food had lot of options to choose from. Some are hits and some misses. The restaurants had good food. My main issue was with communication. This was my birthday trip and I let the staff know during check in and asked what they offered for birthdays; I was told it was handled and during my dinner, no one was aware and I had to tell them it was my birthday. We weren’t told about the schedules or how anything worked, maybe it’s the language barrier. We had to figure things out and makeout what the pamphlet said. However we loved the overall staff from the restaurants to the lobby and overall services. Everyone is very patient and friendly. By the time we had to go the staff honestly felt like family. They knew our names and kids names. Really a great crew.
